Liquid Analysis

Liquid analysis comprises sensors, transmitters, and analyzers used to measure key chemical and physical parameters directly in process streams or supporting utility systems. The discipline is increasingly essential for environmental protection, consistent product quality, process optimization, and safety—especially where liquids must be analyzed continuously across industries such as water, beverages, dairy, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals.

The Endress+Hauser portfolio spans core analytical parameters and complete measuring stations, including pH, conductivity, turbidity, chlorine, oxygen, ORP, TOC/COD/SAC, nutrient measurement, sludge level, process photometers, and microwave transmission measurement, supported by digital sensor technologies. Measurement principles are matched to the parameter: potentiometric methods underpin pH measurement, conductivity can be measured using conductive or toroidal principles, and colorimetric principles support measurement of nutrients, metals, or carbon components. Digitalization is a major enabler in modern liquid analysis. Memosens converts the measured value to a digital signal and transfers it to the transmitter without a contacting connection, supporting resilient signal transmission and more streamlined maintenance approaches.
